Order Information

For May and August 2013 Graduates

Dear HSU Degree Candidate,

It is my pleasure to announce that, in recognition of your earning your HSU diploma, a unique program exists whereby every graduating student can receive the Official Hardin-Simmons University Ring during the semester of her/his scheduled graduation.

The best part of this program is that you will not have to pay any more for your ring than you have already paid for your college expenses! Recognizing the high costs involved in earning An Education Enlightened by Faith, we want to acknowledge your success by offering you an Official HSU Ring to wear during your final semester and thereafter as a symbol of your dedication in achieving this great life milestone.

You may preview choices such as karat weight, stone options, and style by clicking here. HSU is offering you a 10k gold ring (large, regular, small, or petite) with amethysts, cubic zirconia, or plain stars. You can select up to 18 letters to be engraved inside your ring. Upgrades, including diamonds and additional karat weight, may be purchased at your expense. The standard 10-karat gold, however, will be yours for no extra cost.

To receive your Official HSU Ring, you must come by Moody Center to have your finger sized and to select the custom elements that will make this ring uniquely yours. Your diploma card must have been completed and filed with the Registrar’s Office before you can order your ring.

For everyone scheduled to graduate May or August 2013, Ring Sizing will be (Moody Center):

Monday, Jan. 28, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.         Wednesday, Jan. 30, 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday, Jan. 29, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.        Thursday, Jan. 31, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

In April, it will be my pleasure to personally hand your Official Ring to you during HSU’s Ring Celebration and Presentation Ceremony on Thursday, April 4, or Friday, April 5, at 6:00 p.m. You will receive an invitation based on your school (seating is limited, 2 guests per recipient and tickets are required). Families are invited to share this short, yet significant occasion. In addition to your own ticket, you may request up to two additional tickets.

If you are unable to attend the Ceremony, your ring will be available at Graduation Rehearsal or in the Alumni Office the week of Graduation.

We recognize how diligently you have worked to get to this point in your collegiate career. Upon your graduation, HSU will be proud to count you as a member of the Alumni Association. We want you to return to the campus often; you will always be welcome.

It gives us great pleasure that Hardin-Simmons University is able to honor your accomplishments in this way. My hope is that you will wear your Official HSU Ring with pride wherever your career takes you.
